Clapton’s Dominos celebrates the iconic Layla album by Derek and the Dominos. Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs is still regarded as one of rock’s finest albums, featuring the immortal guitar work of Eric Clapton and Duane Allman. Layla was a story of Eric Clapton’s hopeless love for George Harrison’s wife, Patti Boyd. She was the inspiration behind classics like Layla, Bell Bottom Blues, Why Does Love Got to Be So Sad, and even inspiring Clapton to perform some of his best blues covers like Have You Ever Loved a Woman.
