In their combined 6 years, their efforts have raised almost $15,000 in total donations. Past recipients of this award have been overwhelmed with gratitude, and expressed that there has been a heartfelt meaning in receiving such an a award in the memory of an alumna of CHHS who was so dedicated to her craft of music. They’ve used these funds to further their studies in music in the form of tuition, books, and instruments.
They are in the process of collecting merchandise for the event, and are requesting your assistance in making the event a success. By donating an item or monetary amount, you’ll be continuing to help provide an award to a hard working, deserving senior who excels in music, gives back to their community, and shows pride in character. 36 Old Post Rd S.Ricky Blues Band and friends will be performing at Senasqua Park in Croton-on-Hudson, NY on Thursday, July 2nd.
This is a great outdoor venue– bring your cooler, chairs, and food. Find a spot on the grass and enjoy the show. It’s a huge field, and the backdrop of the stage is the glorious Hudson River. There is plenty of space for the kids (or drunk adults) to run around.
Here’s a video from our show there 2 years ago:
The show starts at 7PM and runs until about 10PM (depending on how long “Eyes of the World” goes on for), and there is plenty of parking on-site.
Please share this with your friends, it should be a great evening. Hope to see you there!
