The Perfect Valentine's Day: A Moonspank Experience
11pmThe Bitter End
147 Bleecker Street (between Thompson and LaGuardia)
New York, NYA sexist tagline? Nah! A perfect Valentine’s Day evening is as follows: Take your crush down to old Manhattan, consume an enjoyable meal, get a little tipsy perhaps, grab a cab down to the famed Bitter End in Greenwich Village and treat yourself to a performance by the one and only Moonspank at 10.
Allow the sweet and bassy sounds of Uncle Spank serenade and get those (ah hem, creative?) juices flowing for the oh-so-important latter part of the evening.
Oh, BTW, hotels are DIRT CHEAP in the City so why even bother going home? -

A Tribute to Rochelle Gambino - Ricky Blues Band @ Mediterranean Taverna
10pmMediterranean Taverna2016 Albany Post Rd
Croton-on-Hudson, NYIn loving memory of the most beautiful musician to touch our lives. For over 30 years she wrote & performed her songs. Her music will live on…and her song will stay in our hearts.
Rochelle Gambino was 44 when she was taken from this world way before her time was done. Her light & talents were equal & unsurpassed. Born in Maple Heights, Ohio and raised in Croton, NY, she began her music career very early on. Upon winning the Croton Council of the Arts award and Senior Class Music Award in 1980, she attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Ma. Beginning as a country artist, she toured Nashville and played at the Blue Bird Cafe. Later in the 80’s, she rediscovered her rock roots and helped form one the tri-state areas premier original and rock cover band; The Black Jacket Band. Performing everywhere from local clubs to C.B.G.B.’s in New York City, she stretched the musical boundaries of an acoustic rock folk musician. In the 90’s she wrote & performed many more songs and toured as a solo artist with a strong backing band. Right up until the time of her passing she was still writing & rocking. She wrote & recorded many, many songs that this world is blessed to be able to carry on.
From 6pm- 12am, we will enjoy over 6 musical acts who will be graciously donating their time & efforts, as well as a Raffle Auction of many diverse donated items.
Please consider donating an item to support the continued work of Friends & Family of Rachelle Gambino. You may reach me at (914)497-1284, by email at JackieBufi@Gmail.com, or my co-chair, Alexis Agosta at The Grandstand, (914)271-8033, by email at Alexis.Agosta@Gmail.com with any questions.

New York, NYIt’s been quite a run at the Bitter End for Moonspank. Since last year around this time, we have played 4 very successful shows at this mega-historic venue. Thank you for making the shows so memorable thus far.
As you may have noticed at the gigs, we have been taping for a live BLU-RAY disc, and live album, which we hope to have out by the end of the year. Come down and make this one the absolute best. Get on tape! You never know where it may air.
We’ll be doing all your favorites, of course, plus a secret cover or two.
This is the one.

Jake Comes Home for Thanksgiving (A Night of Audible Gluttony)
Foley's Club Lounge
479 Bedford Road
Pleasantville NY Your Mountainmen have decided to shake off the rust and make a “coming home” appearance on Thanksgiving Eve, on our home field @ Foley’s in Pleasantville.
Jake’s agent even tells us there’s a “good chance he’ll show up”.
So, friends, before you stuff your faces with turkey and the trimmings, stuff your ears with loud cover music… we’ll even throw in a few new ones.
Because, hey, sitting next to Aunt Harriet at Thanksgiving dinner will be much more pleasant if you can’t hear her.
