I met Type O Negative last night at an in-store appearance in New Jersey.
Johnny Kelly, their drummer, gave me some feedback on what the band thought of “Possession”, my recorded tribute to them. 🙂
Apple Computer, Inc. Saves The Music Industry
Unless you’ve been living in a bunker, you’ve probably heard about Apple’s iTunes Music Store where you can purchase just about any song you want for 99¢, download it (including album art) and burn it to a CD. This is the greatest idea since Apple released the the iPod or the Macintosh itself. Leave it to Steve Jobs to save the failing music industry.
As for our music, I will be posting a clip of “Trina” within the next couple of days. The new album should be done before the summer is over, but there is currently no date set. In the mean time, check out the new Regenerated Headpiece album, Dog Fight, which I got to jam out on.
